Services of EPSS
Explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) activities seek to reduce the risk of injury from explosive ordnance by raising awareness of women, girls, boys and men in accordance with their different vulnerabilities, roles and needs, and promoting behavioral change. In recent years, exceptionally high numbers of civilian casualties from explosive ordnance have been recorded in Ethiopia. The delivery of effective EORE interventions to affected populations – in addition to clearance and other risk reduction programs – is a primary means of preventing injuries and saving lives.
Explosive Ordnance Risk Training (EORE):

Mining Security
Mining Security: As mine operators begin to integrate enterprise-wide systems in order to gain efficiencies, security risks are increasing. To combat this, mines must implement real-time visibility and security solutions designed to reduce risk and build operational resiliency. To withstand market volatility, mine operators must maximize efficiency while incorporating security best practices. The vast areas covered by mining operations present several security challenges that are not necessarily faced by most other environments – chief among them the ability to provide effective perimeter protection and surveillance. EPSS is ready to offer mining security services to companies which are working or will join this sector in a professional manner.
